   博士生导师,国务院政府特殊津贴获得者,卫生部有突出贡献的中青年,教育部跨世纪人才,四川省科学与技术学术带头人,中国医院协会妇产医院管理分会副主委,四川省医学伦理委员会侯任主委。担任《中华医学遗传学杂志》、《四川大学学报(医学版)》及《西安交通大学学报(医学版)》等多种学术期刊的编委。现任四川大学校长助理、四川大学华西第二医院院长。1987年毕业于华西医科大学,获医学学士、硕士学位,1992年留学德国攻读医学博士学位,1995年获德国Mainz大学医学博士学位,随后获德国DFG基金会资助做博士后研究,1999年学成归国,同年破格晋升教授。主要从事免疫遗传学等研究,作为课题负责人承担了科技部“973”前期研究专项、科技部“863”主题项目、科技部科技基础性工作专项、国家自然科学基金、教育部科学技术研究重点项目、教育部博士点基金(优先发展领域及重点项目等)、以及四川省科技厅科技支撑计划等多项基金资助项目的研究。获四川省科技进步一等奖2项、教育部科技进步二等奖1项、中国人民解放军医疗成果二等奖1项,6项发明授权专利。发表SCI论文130余篇,主编国家“十一五”规划教材一部,参编专业教材及著作四部。培养硕士、博士研究生50余名。
